Skip Hire Barbican provides waste management solutions through the rental of skip bins. Our services include delivery, collection, and waste disposal in compliance with local regulations.

1.1 Availability

Our services are available to residents and businesses within the Barbican area, subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or entity that does not comply with our terms.

2. Booking and Reservation

To secure a skip, customers must complete the booking process either online or via phone. A valid credit or debit card is required to confirm the reservation.

Bookings can be made up to six months in advance.
Confirmation will be sent via email or SMS.
Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery information.

3. Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is due at the time of booking via our secure payment gateway.

3.1 Additional Charges

Additional fees may apply for:

Overweight or oversized loads.
Extended rental periods beyond the agreed timeframe.
Unauthorized use of the skip.

Customers will be notified of any extra charges before they are applied.

4. Delivery and Placement

Our team will deliver the skip to the specified location. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the placement area is clear and accessible.

4.1 Site Preparation

Customers must prepare the site by:

Providing sufficient space for delivery and collection.
Ensuring the ground is level to prevent tipping.
Removing any obstacles that may impede access.

5. Usage Guidelines

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the waste they dispose of complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

5.1 Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited:

Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, asbestos).
Electrical appliances containing refrigerants.
Medicines and pharmaceuticals.

Illegal disposal of prohibited items may result in fines and/or legal action.

6. Liability

Skip Hire Barbican is not liable for any damage or loss resulting from:

Improper placement of the skip.
Overloading beyond the specified capacity.
Unauthorized removal of the skip before the agreed collection date.

Customers must insure their property and belongings accordingly.

7. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery without incurring a penalty.

Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Bookings canceled after the skip has been delivered will incur the full rental cost.

8. Termination of Service

Skip Hire Barbican reserves the right to terminate services if:

Customers breach any of the terms and conditions.
There is non-payment of dues.
Illegal activities are detected.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this region.

Skip Hire Barbican will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, or pandemics.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be in full effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Skip Hire Barbican, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
